you would think. It's more than most of those people would have made in their lifetime, yet we feel that they are now entitled to it because their homes floated away. I often think that if California really did fall into the ocean (impossible, really) the rest of the country would say something like "well, we kept telling them that would happen. They're all fruits and nuts out there anyway"
